Painting Update and I got a smartphone!

Work on the Alpha Legion Dreads is now in full swing. 6 of these guys will join the rhino/razorback horde I painted a little while back. I'm still getting used to this blue/green paint-scheme. There is certainly something about it that is both interesting and that sets you at unease...just like the power of Chaos. The arms are not done of course. There are about 12 different paints of arms for this group - all magnetized for the client. This is quite the epic project for me.

Oh! I am back to true metal AND LOVING IT!

I like it, there's a smooth transition of colors.

Nice work! What else have you got planned? and may I ask your blue/green recipe?

Thanks! I'm afraid the blue is a color I created by mixing some createx air brush paints together then highlighted with scorpion green. It's basically a teal color. If I were to do it over I'd use scaly green.

Daniel, this was with an airbrush. I used it to do the base coat. Airbrushes can't do the rest though.
