Some decal work tonight and these will be out the door to Paulson Games. Lots of fun to paint and really cool models to boot, can't wait for the larger mecha!
Grajo, first I base coated with a dark green over black under coat. Then I mixed vma: us khaki with a lot of satin varnish and sprayed that on with an air directiona top down direction. Then I airbrushed on minitaire desolate beach in zenithal highlights. Finally, I blended more highlights of vmc:deck tan and white with a normal brush.

The mechs arrived and I'm loving them. Thanks again for painting the group and they came out amazing.
On the technical side I think some of the weapon highlights might be a tad bit wide/heavy. Don't get me wrong they look great and I couldn't do better, but if you make the highlights slightly thinner I think they'd pop even more. Right now it has the impression of the hull color as reflected light on the barrels but it's a bit broad which would tend to match a chromed barrel a bit more than a gunmetal tone if that makes sense?
I love the models and it's a very minor point of critique.
The little nicks and hints of battle damage are awesome and really add a nice depth to the armor panels.
Thanks! Yeah, the autocannons - I got a little heavy on the highlights on those...I can totally see what you mean. I should try to get some reference photos next time.

What colours and technique did you used to paint this beige/white??
