Blood Angels Update: Misfits in a Tank

Just an update on what I've been doing. Last night I looked at my Baal Predator and thought it was kind of boring so I painted on some designs to bring in more color. I tried to paint on the Misfits Skullface--something that I have been meaning to do for some time. Almost nailed it, next one will be spot on.

There is a Doubles Tournament coming up in September and I am hoping to at least place in the Best Painted Category with my buddy, Brian, if he agrees to join me.

We'd be playing with an Angels of Death Army, Dark Angels and Blood Angels fighting together. My force would fill the attack role, while Brian Speeders support and his bikes claim objectives toward the end of the game. It could work. Or I could just play my Tau...Forge World updates to the army are stalled at the moment as I seem to have lost my green stuff and there is a lot of smoothing out to do. I hacked apart another battlesuit to get those Imperial jump packs on him and I need to do some filling in before showcasing them. Keep posted here later in the week. In the meantime, enjoy all that red...

I like the grimy feel you've achieved with the tank, and the Misfits skull looks like you nailed it to me.

That is one very nice Predator. The weathering is done very well.

The weather is surprisingly easy. I take some bubonic brown, wipe off the brush like your dry-brushing and I stiple it on. Looking at this model, I thinking that I should put in some nicks like I've done with my rhinos. I should post those too. I think my black Death Company Rhino is going to have a huge Misfits skull on it. Yes, indeed.

You should definitely play the Blood Angels/Dark Angels "Angels of Death" doubles.

Tank looks great, too! Better than my predators, for sure.
