Congratulations to all! We raised over 31,000 dollars!

Thank you to all those who supported the Heroes of Armageddon project. Please go to the official Heroes of Armageddon blog and drop a comment of congratulations and jubilation.

Being a part of this project has made me extremely proud. What was once a nerdy hobby that my friends thought silly is now something much, much more and we owe it all to ourselves for supporting the project financially, getting the word out, or by contributing to the prizes.

There are so many places and people in the world that need the support that Doctors Without Borders provides. For them, it can be a matter of life and death. All of you came through for them. I am really humbled by your generosity, support and enthusiasm. It makes me a true believer of what a group of people working together can achieve.

$31,000 is no joke for any non-profit organization. Quite frankly, you've all beaten and gone beyond expectation. Thank you.

Now that you're done with my piece of drivel, I strongly encourage all of you to go to their website and just poke around a bit, read an article, learn something about them. http://www.doctorswithoutborders.org/

Anychance of another contest next year maybe featuring the Badab war or the Damocles Gulf Crusade? Methinks this should become an annual event, it certainly is bringing in the attention to warrant such an idea!
