It's certainly been a long time since I actually picked up some Tau range models and actually painted them. The last one I painted was at least a year ago and my skills have come a long way since then.
This evening, after having a Friday evening constitutional, I picked up some previously painted Tau models and went to work cleaning up and updating things. Not sure if you can tell in the pics, but re-painting the Fire Warriors was quite fun and they look better than ever!

Wow, just simply wow. Those are fantastic, nice crisp and clean edges. And the skin tone seems a little bit better (correct me if im wrong). But those are lovely, be proud of them. I can't wait to see More.
Is that a beastman head on the middle mini?
Lovely... gives me new food for thought when it comes to my own minis!
An excellent scheme well executed. I particularly like the skin tone and mottling on the Fire Warrior flesh.
Cheers

Great paint jobs on the minis I ove how they look.
keep with TAU it is for the greater good.
Nice looking mini's! Always good to see some Tau.
The lenses look much better! You've got the best Tau flesh recipe there is.
What is that huge white pod that Battle suit is rocking in the back ground? Is that an apocalypse sized missile launcher? That thing is truly scary. hahaha
I can see the difference in the paint job. So much smoother and cleaner. It was great before with nothing to complain about, but I can see the improvement. Very very nice Tim.
@Vandalworks: Yea, I think that is a beastman head. I seem to recall Tim saying that he was using beastman heads a long time ago as additional tau heads. It's what Tau look like when they are pissed off for a very long time.
Great work Tim, trim and smart for kicking some alien butt. Always admired your colour scheme :)
Shall be getting into some games this year also - best parade ready my Cadre too!

The flesh tones on them are great. I wish I could shade colors like that.
What colors are you using? Still the Vallejo Model Colors?
