Dark Eldar Concept Mini

I suppose I am only 50% satisfied. I don't really like the gold...it's all too common on Dark Eldar models...instead I'll do another one with blue symbols on the shoulder pads, me thinks.

G Red cautioned me against blue, but I feel Ice Blue might really work here. While yellows and ochres are tried and true compliments to sea greens, sometimes following formulas takes the decision making out of painting. He's right in that it'll look good, but I just feel at times you need to try something new and see how it works.

There's still a lot needed on this guy to churn up the visual interest and he doesn't look at all Bromish as I wanted...though Brom uses tons of rich earth tones, I'm going cold.
